Manny Pacquiao, Brock Lesnar, Jon Jones and the Latest Pugilist Buzz
Fighting is in the air, and we have some fighting items that we need to talk about.
Brock Lesnar, the biggest-drawing card in mixed martial arts, could see his star dimming a little bit. The ratings (I know, no one cares about them) for the first episode of The Ultimate Fighter came in late last week, and they weren't good.
But is it Lesnar who is losing his drawing power? Or is UFC oversaturating the market with their product? Or is it some combination of both?
Jon Jones, who could take over Lesnar's crown as the biggest-drawing card in the sport, is still shining from his Light Heavyweight Championship victory two weeks ago at UFC 128.
There's no news about when the Jones-Rashad Evans fight will take place, but it still looks like it is going to happen sometime late this summer or early fall.
Manny Pacquiao is still moving forward with his lawsuit against Floyd Mayweather. The longer these two men battle in court, the further it seems we move away from ever seeing them square off in the ring.
We will have updates on all these men and other items throughout the world of boxing and mixed martial arts.
